Our cherished animal regulars continue to bless the land surrounding Xigera Safari Lodge, and alongside them, we've been privileged to encounter an array of new species and unforgettable moments. Captured by Ike With the rainy season winding down, the elusive cheetah has returned, lured by the dry conditions and making frequent appearances this month. Our anticipation grows for further sightings of these magnificent creatures as the year unfolds. Additionally, lion prides and leopards have been spotted sauntering towards the Boro River, which serves as the lifeline of our region as the primary water source. Captured by Des Captured by Des Due to the relatively sparse rainfall this year, our elephant population has returned much earlier from their migration compared to the past two years, enriching our landscape with their majestic presence.
